Key Features and Design
Adjustable Runout: This chuck features radial adjusting screws on the back of the body.After the workpiece is initially clamped, a dial indicator is used to measure the runout. The adjusting screws are then manipulated to shift the entire chuck assembly until near-zero runout is achieved.
High Precision: Turno chucks are manufactured with a high level of precision, with accuracy guaranteed down to 0.005mm. This makes them ideal for jobs requiring extremely tight tolerances.
Durable Construction: The body is made from high-strength semi-steel with a hardness of 180-210 BHN.The jaws are made from low carbon hardening steel with a hardness of 55-60 HRC, and the scroll plates are forged from alloy steel, ensuring longevity and durability.
Repetitive Accuracy: Once the initial adjustment is made for a specific part diameter, repetitive machining of similar jobs can be done with a high degree of concentricity, typically within 0.015mm.
